Field Workers

Our current workforce comprises of a nationwide network of over 800 experienced and trained staff, spread throughout the United Kingdom, ensuring full coverage of every region.  Our enumerators are recruited from professional organisations such as the National Association of Retired Police Officers, ensuring that staff are highly observant, capable and trustworthy in all aspects of work they are required to undertake. 

We also offer an employment programme for students onsite and in-house, investing in young talent and providing useful training for civil engineers of the future.  Our supervisor-training package is offered to our most experienced and competent staff, offering promotion to supervisors and/or technician status.  Successful trainees go on to run all the varied aspects of site work including Traffic Management, ATC installation/maintenance and Video Surveillance.

We advertise strategically, targeting specific publications to enhance the recruitment process.  Staff are selected for their aptitude and experience, although all staff are trained to the stringent standards expected by CTS.

Once employed, each member of staff enjoys the potential for further career advancement.  Suitable candidates are offered the best training available in the field, through in-house packages and external certificated courses.
